Another cause of dark under-eye circles is dehydration. Always ensure that you drink plenty of water.

No matter how I try I just can't manage to sleep on my back. I think my dark circles are a bit genetic as well. I do however keep well hydrated so that's a plus. Thanks for the information. Good to read.

I am not a DIY person and don't like the idea of any food going near my face. I wouldn't mind splurging on a good eye cream as it is my area of concern

Wow, I never expected to see sliced potatoes on this list of treatments! Who knew?! I use the Arbonne Calm Soothing Eye Gel. It helps a little.

Loved this vid!! I tend to use a concealor and cheat by disguising my dark circles! I mix two fave concealers together to get one just how I like it and I apply it with a Nude By Nature concealer brush.

Any suggestion of where I can get good quality pure rosewater from? I saw some at my local Indian shop but it seems they were all artificially flavoured

Maybe iherb Moonlight or possibly make your own if you have roses. (google a Youtube article on how to do it) and the other thing is - I picked some up at Aldi about a year ago. TVSN also stocked the same one exactly at one stage! Just shows how Aldi can be weird but it can also be not too bad for some things! ; )

Thankyou CCW for all the great suggestions. It seems the universe was listening and I won some awesome Rose water Mist from House of Immortelle. It smells divine and I would repurchase it when it gets used up.

I've noticed dark circles only during the past few weeks so I'm just off to grab a potato and cucumber.

Avoid eye creams.
Sleep on your back.
Drink enough water.
Reduce salt, sugar and caffeine.
Up your vitamin intake through diet and supplements.
Take antihistamines.
Moisturise and help retain hydration by using a cream with a decent humectant.

My dark circles never leave, I have tried natural remedies and so many eye creams and gels with minimal change. I suffer allergy's , problems sleeping and have very translucent skin around the eye area, so I just conceal, conceal conceal. The best thing about any treatment is the relaxation and feeling pampered.

I find consuming 2000mg of vitamin C daily helps with my overall complexion. Excessive? Maybe...

Sleeping on your back and employing humectants such as glycerine and hyaluronic acid under eyes helps immensely.
