“A contributing factor might be that I’ve just come back from a relaxing holiday, but my recent trial of StriVectin-AR Night Treatment has resulted in smoother, softer and – I like to think – slightly less lined skin. As a fifty-something year old, an effective night cream is on my list of 63 items required for basic maintenance and having a good one is imperative. I like the convenience of the 50mL tube. It delivers a perfect serve of the skin-helping formula that works while I sleep. It’s a smooth, pale yellow cream that feels silky to the touch and smoothes into my skin nicely. It contains retinol, so this is obviously a product that has to be used indoors and overnight only – this is a serious ingredient that needs careful use. But if you’re looking for serious results, then I guess it’s worth it. My holiday’s over but the tube continues which is good news for me and my fine lines!”

"I know fine lines and wrinkles are inevitable, but if I can hold on to my skin's radiance as I age, I'll be a happy lady. This is precisely why I use a facial oil every single night, as they're known for giving you healthy, plump skin. The good news is this radiance-enhancing rosehip oil delivers just that. It hydrates my skin, helping to eliminate dry patches and fine lines, and leaves my skin feeling wonderfully soft and smooth upon waking up. I'd use it in the morning too if I could (I adore it that much!), but my oily t-zone means it's a nighttime-only product. I recommend this luxurious oil for all ages - its vitamin E will help hydrate young skin and its pro vitamin A will help firm a more mature skin - as it encourages a youthful radiance in all skin types."

“I’ve tried quite a few crayon lip colours and I usually find that, while the colour is often great, the finish is a bit sheer. Don’t get me wrong – sometimes I love a sheer wash of colour, but sometimes I’m looking for something a bit more punchy and pigmented. Well, colour me surprised (pleasantly so!) when I applied both the Liddy Lilac (a light pink) and Kiss & Tell (true red) and found that they were incredibly pigmented – almost as if I had just applied lipstick. They also felt really nourishing on my lips, almost like a balm, and my lips felt incredibly comfortable all day. I did need to do a few touch-ups, but that didn’t faze me too much. Another big bonus is the price – at only $8 a pop, it’s pretty friendly on the ol’ bank balance. Even if you buy all shades. Which you should.”

"I recently had my hair dyed blonder and as a result my ends have seemed a bit more dry, and not as soft to touch. My hair has also been more prone to tangling, which is one of the side effects of damage, so I was really keen to find a nourishing treatment that could restore my hair to good health. Although I've got fine hair, I do have a lot of it, so I tend to need a treatment that's not too heavy that it weighs down my fine hair, but not too lightweight that it doesn't penetrate each and every hair shaft. This treatment worked really well on my hair in that it didn't leave it feeling heavy or greasy, but instead left my entire head of hair feeling really well nourished (without having to use the whole tube in one go!) After use my hair was really soft and shiny, and much easier to manage - and even with the windy weather I didn't seem to get as many knots and tangles as I usually would. I only used it on my mid-lengths and ends, as those were my problem areas, but I think those with really damaged hair could probably get away with using it all over their head as a really intensive treatment once every week or so. Overall, very happy with the results and would definitely recommend!"
