Hypnôse Mascara Reviews

After hearing so many amazing things about this mascara so I decided to finally go out and buy this I was so excited to try it but I was so dissapointed.

I had such high hopes for this mascara but I actually do not like it at all to be honest, I have found many cheaper "drugstore" mascara's that work better than this.

I found it does glide on easily but it gives a wet effect and does not separate my lashes but tends to stick them together.

It is not lengthening nor thickening as they claim, the only thing I like is the packaging of this and the brush.

I received this as a gift so I was very happy to use it - I'm not sure if I would pay the full price as there are lots of good mascaras out there. This is a great mascara - it comes out as a really black mascara which is great, really dense. The brush is good, easy to use. The packaging is nice, matte black with gold print. I found it didn't smudge or move throughout the day which is the main problem I have with most mascaras. It washes off fine though. It doesn't have a strong smell which I like as some cheaper mascaras can have a horrible chemical smell. Overall, a lovely product but I doubt I would splurge on it.

I have started using this as a teenager, and I loved it entirely. It spreads out lashes, gives it length and volume and never clumps. One layer looks natural, and more than that, dramatic!

Because of the price I had many years to look for alternatives and the only one that came close is the Bad Gal by benefit. The wand of the hypnose is a better hourglass shape with soft bristles that do not poke my eyes unlike the Bad Gal.

I have the non-waterproof version currently and while this holds my lashes even without the use of a lash curler. This does smudge after a solid 8 hours at least.

I received a sample size of this mascara as part of my Beauty Loop box & have used it for about a month. Although the sample size is small, I still loved the brush shape & how it manage to get every single one of my lashes coated. The colour of this mascara is great too - dark black! The formula was long lasting & didn't smudge or flake throughout the day.

I bought the Hypnôse mascara on the recommendation of a friend. It was my first ever Lancôme product and I have never looked back!

I have sparse eyelashes that point in different directions and vary in length and curl. I really struggle to make my lashes look good with mascara, as they often just highlight how uneven my lashes are, and my makeup often ends up looking messy after applying mascara. I either have to wear a very, VERY light application, or nothing at all.

Thankfully I don't have those issues with Hypnôse! I still have to put some effort in to get an even looking application, but I spend a lot less time on it now, and the wand is the perfect shape to stop me from making a mess like I usually do. It also doesn't irritate my eyes like some brands do.

If you're looking for huge, standout lashes then you would probably want a different product, but if you want an easy-to-apply, non-irritant mascara then I would highly, highly recommend this.

If we are talking about mascaras this is a definite winner! Rich color, perfect application without leaving anything behind but bigger, thicker and curled eyelashes.

I have used it for the first time 7 years ago and since I am not gifted with the perfect long black eyelashes (I am too blond and my eyelashes are short...) I found in this mascara all I wanted... It lasts as long as I need it to last and my eyelashes stay high and curled until I remove my make-up!

The brush has a good size which make it easy to use. It separates the eyelashes easily and I don't have to use it 20 times on each eye to get a good result.

Very gentle to the eyes it has never caused any irritation. For me it remains the absolute mascara!

I got a sample of this from the DJ counter a while back and while I love the way it just adds amazing volume and depth to the lashes and eyes, it continually flakes on me and give me panda eyes by the end of the day. Maybe I just got a bad sample??
The wand is fantastic (it's up there with Diorshow), the mascara is really easy to apply, and this was definitely my go-to mascara for date nights, but it just didnt' want to stay put :(

First tried this mascara 7 years ago (I can't believe it has been that long !) -it came in a gift with purchase pack. I was hooked from the very first use. It went on beautifully and stayed on beautifully. It was easy to layer and does not clog or clump and it stayed put all day. No running, no flaking, no irritation just perfect looking mascara. It also appears to lengthen my lashes without having to put layers and layers and without looking "spidery". I have not used another brand since!

I have tried most of Lancome's mascaras (which are all lovely) however, I keep returning to this one for its fine brush, consistent light texture (which is easily layered for night wear) and overall comfort.

The only downside I have found is when it is first opened the product has lodged thickly in the wand which makes application quite thick to start with. After a a couple of applications though it goes on smoothly and evenly every time.

It is well worth the price to not have itchy flaky clumpy mascara.

I love this Lancôme Hypnôse Mascara.

It comes in a black plastic tube. The mascara wand is long and thin with a handle that is easy to grip for application. It applies easy, and you can apply more than one coat and it wont clump or smudge. The brush separates each lash and coat it is easily in product. It really does lengthen ad thicken my lashes. I love how you can you have a subtle look with one coat, or add a few more coats of this mascara for a more dramatic look.

This mascara last all day without smudging or transferring. This mascara comes off easily with some makeup remover.

Its very pricey for a mascara (but worth it), so I usually wait for a Lancôme gift with purchase before I repurchase each time.
