A lot of the make up removers I have used in the past have been very harsh to my dry and sensitive skin that I have basically given up and just wash my face with water (I know that is a beauty no no!). When I received this remover, I was expecting something very exfoliating and harsh on the skin, so to my surprise when I found a soft and fluffy "pillow" like fabric. Instinctively, I brushed it on my face straight away and was amazed at just how gentle it was!

Now for the real test, I put on my thick make up and came back from work after a long day. I began gently wiping the make up off, expecting a smear of make up, but it took it off quite well and the make up seemed to soak in to it rather than just smear over the top of it. I was pleasantly impressed. Cleaning it up afterwards was a breeze as well, just clean under water then hang to dry, easy and quick and it kept its fluffiness.

Overall, it worked well for quick use, but after a few days I did notice it loose some of its absorption so it is not really practical for every day use.

The manicare remover towel aims to remove makeup instantly with just water. I normally do not use a towel to wash my makeup off, as the towel is too rough for my skin. However, Manicare’s towel is soft which removes makeup gently, making the skin feel fresh and clean.

I have overly sensitive skin, and after using this towel to wash off my makeup, it did not irritate it. I am quite amazed at how effective this towel is in remove make up and dirt on my face. I like how the product is latex free, which is great for people with sensitive skin. Additionally, the towel is small and compact which is travel friendly.

The down side to this product is that you would need to leave it dry in a well ventilated place or else the towel will become mouldy and bacteria will build. Taking care of the towel is more effort than just using a cotton pad to remove makeup. This towel needs to be washed with soap in order to remove the dirt built up.

I do recommend this towel for people with sensitive skin, as it definitely does remove makeup. It is more environmentally friendly, since it is reusable when compared to cotton pads.

The manicare makeup remover cloths are my favorite affordable reusable makeup removers. They are almost the exact same as the hyped "makeup eraser", and a good cheaper dupe for the face halo.

The new "Erase-It" makeup removers however, are the greatest reusable makeup remover I've ever used and by far beat every other version on the market.

They are literally, revolutionary.

Number one, they are SO soft. They're like little squares of clouds, if clouds worked as well as micellar water. You wet the little cloud-squares and then an use them however you need to remove the makeup. I use little circular motions and the makeup just disappears.

Here's the reason why I prefer the Erase-It above the opposition, circular makeup removers:
1 - They are cheaper. Without even being aware of the price as this was gifted to me in a trial team, I know they would be cheaper as it's Manicare which is very affordable brand.
2 - They're softer. Whilst this doesn't seem like a bonus when it comes to exfoliation and makeup removal, they work just as well without the harsher texture.
3 - The makeup removal ability is other-worldly. Thick layers of double wear? Gone. Mascara layered thick and heavy? Gone. Eyeliner pushed into the lash line? Gone.

They are magical.

I was really excited to try this product as I had been previously researching some of the similar options available but hadn’t made a purchase yet.

I was keen to try these as they are supposed to be environmentally friendly plus super easy to use. I am sceptical however of how good these are for the environment as usually I only use a cleanser and my fingers, so now I am getting rid of the cleanser but subbing it with some soap to wash up the makeup remover pad, so essentially not making a huge change?

The product itself is the perfect size to be compact for storage but big enough to use on the face. The material is super soft and feels luxurious on the skin – I hope it stays this way after many uses. It was really nice to use and left my skin feeling clean. I’m not sure I am keen on the product being such a pale colour, but makeup has appeared to wash off it well so far. I only received this in the mail a few days ago so haven’t washed it through the machine yet so hopefully this keeps it very fresh.

I found this product removed my foundation well. Unfortunately I didn’t get a chance to try it with mascara or waterproof makeup yet, so that will be my next test. I will definitely continue using this and it will actually be great to use when I travel instead of makeup wipes which I usually pack!

3.5 stars is what I'd really rate this product if I could. I'm JUST on the fence on whether I would recommend it. The makeup remover is a small light blue square of soft, somewhat long fibres (same texture on both sides). It's much thicker than Manicare's previous iteration of the makeup eraser cloth which was thin as a tea-towel. This remover felt about 1-1.5cm thick and was fluffy-ish, not like a sponge but felt more like a thick towel folded over itself and sewn together. It's attached to a small royal blue satin(?) ribbon loop at the centre of one of the edges. This is a con for me as it was difficult to keep this part dry while washing my face, and it took much longer to air out and dry than the main part of the cloth. The pros of this is that you can easily hang it on a hook, and use it to get a better grip on the cloth during use.

Overall I'd say the cloth remover works pretty well for removing makeup with just water, which is really convenient if I'm too lazy to crack out the micellar water and single-use cotton pads - a plus for the environment. The fibres are soft, but because they physically 'pulled' off my foundation and other makeup, my skin ended up feeling a lot more dry than it normally does with my regular micellar water routine. It also felt a bit more raw or sensitive (not so much that it became red), but I felt the need to be extra careful before proceeding to actually cleanse my face with the Sonic Mini afterwards.

It's pretty easy to manoeuvre into the nooks and crannies of my face, wiping foundation of the sides of my nose was okay. Might've been easier with a thinner cloth than this one. I didn't have to press too hard to get anything off overall. It works well to remove eyebrow pencil too.

I love these they take away make up so easily there soft n fluffy n not so hard on the skin I found them to easy to use n dry pretty quickly i seen how make up comes off an also easy to clean love the shape an design there cute an also easy to travel with being single mum you ever have time for yourself an little things in life is most important I love being being able to have about half hour to myself this dose the job really quickly n it's not harsh on the skin I love how they have Blue tab where you hold it makes it much more easy too use it's very soft an I like how it removed make up so easily n with bursh it just perfect

You can really use it as anything like in shower I loved being apart of this trial n love too be apart of soon come :)

My first thought when trying out this makeup removing pad was how nice and soft the product was. It's a fluffy textured pad that is super gentle when rubbed against the skin. I preceeded to wet the pad before use. I feel as though the pad didn't overly absorb the water which was a little weird, but regardless, it worked at removing my makeup really well. The shape of the product was a little awkward to use at first as it is a large square shape, rather than an oval shape like most other pads on the market; but I must say that I ended up liking this shape as the corners of the square allowed you to easily wipe under your eyes and in the crevaces of the nostrils, chin, etc.

Now for my minor gripes with this product... Some of the little fluffy bits of the pad come off during use. I'm sure after a few washes in the washing machine this will be solved, though it is a little annoying to find malting bits of fluff on your face straight after a cleanse. Also, I feel that after just one use of removing my makeup that the pad was really hard to wash off by hand. The makeup seemed to adhere to the pad and not come off with a normal hand-wash with soap and water, so I ended up putting it in the washing machine after only using it the one time. These are ultimately pretty minor issues, though they are what makes this product less favourable to some other similar products that I've tried.

All in all, I think this is a good product, though not my personal favourite on the market at the moment. Though, if you are looking for a reliable product to remove makeup effectively and you want something super soft and non-abrasive, this one's for you!

The manicare “erase it” make up remover is a gentle blue fluffy makeup removing pad. It’s so soft and fluffy like a cloud.
It was okay in removing my foundation and lipstick but I found it a little bit too rough for my eye makeup which is water proof as it required a lot more rubbing ~ which is why I gave 2 stars.

The makeup removing pad got about half my facial makeup off but it just wouldn’t come off the pad. The instructions show that you can reuse the pad and was every few days to avoid build up, for me, since my skin is a beige tone, just made me feel ick. The fluffy blue pad had become super brown and even with machine wash the colour wouldn’t come out.
I used one side at a time and noticed that even after completely “cleaning” my face with one side, if I used the other side as well it would also become really brown so I wasn’t 100% sure that my skin could be “cleaned” purely with this makeup pad.

This makeup removal pad may be better suited to those who only use a light coverage foundation or BB cream, as I found that came off easier with the pad rather than using my full coverage foundation and mascara

I'd heard of makeup remover cloths from other brands but had hesitated in buying them either because of the high price tag or for fear that they would be too harsh on my very sensitive and acne-prone skin. Manicare products are generally affordable and easily accessible which is a big advantage.

I love the idea of a re-usable makeup removal method as you save money in the long run and it is not adding to the landfill that is filling our beautiful world. Manicare has brought the Erase-it makeup remover into the market at the perfect time as people are becoming much more aware of their impact on the environment and supporting beauty brands that are sourced and made ethically and sustainably and add minimal waste.

The makeup remover cloth is soft and fluffy to the touch. A few fibres fell out of mine during my first use but I have not seen any more shedding since then. I did not expect a fluffy cloth to be able to remove makeup but this product proved me wrong. After wetting the cloth, I gently rubbed my face, eyes and lips. As long as you drench the cloth sufficiently, it does not drag or tug at your skin. This makeup remover took off my long wear foundation, eyebrow pomade, matte lipstick, non-waterproof mascara......I tested it with different types of makeup and it was only defeated by lip stain, some long lasting matte liquid lipsticks and waterproof eyeliner. Wow!

The makeup will obviously stain the cloth but if you clean it right away with some soap/cleanser, you can get most of the stains out. It is suggested to hang the cloth up to dry in between uses but the material is quite thick so I find mine don't dry completely before I need to use it the next night. It hasn't affected the effectiveness but I do worry about potential germs growing inside. I have put my cloth into the washing machine but it didn't seem to wash out any of the stains. But at least it gets a more thorough clean once a week. It will still look dirty but it doesn't impact the effectiveness of the makeup removal. The brand recommends replacing the cloths every few months.

After using this as my makeup remover for a few weeks, I can recommend it to beauties looking for a cleansing cloth. It works well to remove the makeup that I use on a daily basis (medium coverage, full face minus eyeshadow). My skin feels smoother after using this so I think it provides some light exfoliation. I have been using this product in conjunction to the Manicare sonic cleansing system and I find it to be too much physical exfoliation for my skin. I experienced some breakouts in areas I don't usually break out which typically personally indicates over-exfoliation of my skin. Once I cut back to using just one of the cleansing products instead of both, my skin started clearing up. My skin is very sensitive to exfoliation so you may not have this problem.
