It's such a joke that the more cosmetically inclined of the products in the Invisible Zinc range is one that is so terribly cosmetically inelegant. It's also a joke that this product won awards, and I trusted the badge on the packaging instead of the reviews before purchasing it.

I've been wanting to use Zinc-based sunscreens because I'm beginning to question the potential hazards of daily chemical sunscreen use. The memory of white, chalked up faces and the higher price tag of mineral sunscreens have kept me away from them, until recently, when I decided to go for the tinted version of this award-winning sunscreen so I wouldn't have to deal with the whiteness of Zinc.

Well, just because it's not white, it doesn't mean it doesn't look like a mask. Like a grease mask. A sticky, shiny grease mask. Oh, boy.

I've only tried this in the winter, and I can't imagine it would wear well at all in the summer when sweating is inevitable. Having said that, with 18% Zinc Oxide, it does provide a good level of protection. It just looks and feels terrible.

The other issue I have with this moisturiser is the 'Anti-Ageing' claim. I mean, yes, by default, sunscreens are the most effective prevention product there is, but it doesn't mention any other ingredient with anti-ageing properties, which leads me to believe there is none. That makes it terrible value at $32 for a sunscreen that looks awful on.

While this is non-irritating, I found out the hard way that this is not easy to wash off, which can then lead to congestion and a minor breakout. The stickiness is real, and it definitely requires either a cleansing oil or multiple cleansing steps to remove it off my skin completely.

The thought of wearing this sunscreen fills me with dread, and I hardly ever reach out for it.

I like various Invisible Zinc Sunscreens but the tinted version is my least favourite. I personally didn't like the tint and how the product felt on my skin. The idea of multitasking product is great with sun protection, moisturiser and a colour tint. The colour would last all day too as zinc oxide sticks to the skin. The tint also helps to neutralise the white cast you get from mineral sunscreen formula. Do try if you like tinted moisturiser and sunscreen.

I used to wear this years ago and stopped...now I remember why. I bought a new tube (it was on sale) and thought I'd try it again. Huge mistake. Breakouts everywhere. So i stopped using it and my skin cleared up a week later. So i tried it again, instant breakout again! Besides the breaking out the formula is very thick and leaves a heavy oily film on my face which takes a lot of work to wash off. In the bin it goes for good!

I have tried a number of different tinted sunscreens, however have repurchased this one for a couple of reasons.

- the light shade is not too dark for my skin tone
- it is a physical rather than chemical sunscreen, so sits well over serums, etc.
- has an SPF of 30+

I feel great knowing that my skin is protected throughout the day. I find my skin looks quite shiny after applying, but if I couple it with my pressed powder I have no issues. It doesn’t even feel like I’m wearing sunscreen, let alone one that is so effective!

My skin- Light. Combination oily.. Occasionally dehydrated & prone to pigmentation.
I need a mineral / sunblock daily for my face to stop further pigmentation / discolouration.
Invisible zinc contains one of the highest amounts of zinc on the market. The original is fantastic. The tint doesn't work for me.

Pros - Contains 25% pure zinc.
No mineral oil or parabeans.
Hydrating oils including vitamin e & shea butter.
Perfect protection with a physical barrier.
Decent under makeup.
Provides sunscreen moisture & tint.

Cons- Applies really really think.
The light tone has too much orange undertone.
Makes skin look greasy during the days.
Seems to oxidase during day worsening the orange tint .
Very thick. More so then other physical sunscreens.
The beeswax and shea butter might be a problem for acne/oily skin= pore clogging.

I think if the tint works for you, and your skin is a little bit on dry side this would be great. Its a perfect physical sunscreen but this makes my skin an orange greasy mess. Can't even wear this in summer.

As a beauty with melasma I look for broad spectrum, mineral sunscreen for everyday use. Most mineral sunscreens are oily and heavy, as zinc oxide is soluble in oil only. The Tinted Daywear is less obnoxiously oily than most. It spreads well and absorbs fairly quickly, leaving a slight oily film which be massaged away once the product has settled. The tint is enough to prevent a white cast to the face and provide some minimal evening of skin tone. I recommend it for those wanting really good sun protection on a daily basis.

There's a tint to this product, but it's barely there. That's why I use it over makeup when I'm out: it keeps me protected from the sun and refreshes the coverage of my BB cream throughout the day, without competing with the BB cream or making me look overdone.

It does live up to its claims, since it's described as a sheer tint and that's exactly what it is.

It's a greasy product so I always have to powder after use, but that doesn't worry me.

While this is an ok product, it's not one I would wear on its own. Don't expect it to do much in terms of covering imperfections because it really doesn't do that at all - it's too sheer.

I wouldn't go out and buy this but I was happy enough to use the sample I received in a sub box. It's a useful product (plus I love the 20g purse size), so it didn't go to waste.

This product protects against the sun with SPF15 and is also a tinted moisturiser which is why I love it, no need for make up. Another great thing about this product; as it is tinted, you don't need to top up your make up each time you need to reapply sunscreen.

I wouldn't waste my money on this sunscreen. Yes, you get very good sun protection but the texture is not very nice at all. It has a gloopy texture and leaves a thick shiny film all over the skin and made my skin sticky and oily to touch throughout the whole day, yet my skin is dry. The sunscreen also transfers onto everything! What a mess! If I wanted to scratch my face, the next thing I touch has a brown stain on it. People also asked why my skin was so sparkly and shiny and how it reflected so much light, that's how noticeable the greasy texture was!

LUCKILY I am quite tanned and the medium colour looked alright on me, but for most people they would have an orange face, even though the tint isn't that strong. Also it didn't irritate my sensitive skin, which is good. The texture isn't that bad if you don't apply it liberally but that defeats the purpose of using sunscreen.
