The beauty quick fix that'll change your life
I don’t know about you, but I’ve started getting a bit lazy about certain things. Things like making it to gym more than once a week, eating healthily all the time, and washing my hair every three days (hey, if you had to spend an hour getting your hair manageable, you’d be lazy about it, too!).
And while there aren’t really any quick fixes for diet and exercise (if only it could be so easy), we can all thank our lucky stars that there is one for those I-really-couldn’t-be-bothered-to-wash-my-hair days. Where would us lazy girls be without you, dearest dry shampoo?
So what do our members (including me) have to say about their favourite dry shampoos? Read on to find out…
TIGI BED HEAD Rockaholic Dirty Secret Dry Shampoo
“I've tried every dry shampoo out there and this is easily my favourite. It's not powdery like most others, and doesn't leave white/grey in your hair. It's easy to use, smells great, very effective, and can also be used as a volumiser. It's a bit more expensive than most but it's a quality product and lasts much longer than the cheaper varieties. The packaging is really cool too.” – Sneaky

Batiste Blush Dry Shampoo
“This really is the best dry shampoo I have ever tried. What I like about it most is that it actually smells really nice, unlike other dry shampoos that smell like yucky chemicals. It’s a great thing to use and I keep it in my bag for when I get oily roots and can’t wash my hair (good for when your on the go). It comes in a clever lightweight can so it’s easy to store anywhere. I just love it!” – Soosh

De Lorenzo Essential Treatments Absorb Dry Shampoo
“This is by far the best dry shampoo I have used. It absorbs well, doesn't leave any powdery residue and the smell is not overpowering. I have very oily hair and it works a treat, don't have to wash my hair every day if I don't want to. It does cost a little more but it is worth it. Definitely one to have in the bathroom cupboard!” – Hooha

Fudge URBAN Dry Shampoo, $10.99, 1300 764 437
“Trying new dry shampoos has become a (admittedly weird) habit for me, and I was not disappointed to have given this one a whirl. The dry shampoo contains micro-powders, which worked a dream in leaving my hair a bit cleaner and definitely a lot fresher for that extra day before an actual wash. The scent was an added bonus – nicely fragranced without being overpowering. Note to brunettes (or those with balayage like me): make sure to brush the product through after, you don’t want to look like you have grey hairs just yet!” – bh’sCarli
