How to survive the party season
There’s no doubt about it, the party season is officially in full swing! To ensure you survive the next few weeks, make time for your beauty prep. From caring for your stressed-out locks to perfecting those finishing touches, here are five ways to look your best this month.
#1 GET YOUR HAIR IN TOP CONDITION
With a massive month of celebrating ahead, you need your hair to be looking its best from start to finish. Without showing your locks a little pre-party TLC, they don’t stand a chance against all that heat styling and outdoor summer fun. The Pantene Pro-V 3 Minute Miracle Daily Moisture Renewal Conditioner helps to repair three months worth of damage in just three minutes – giving your locks a good dose of moisture before the onslaught of party styling begins. Paired with the Pantene Pro-V Daily Moisture Renewal Shampoo, your hair will look and feel healthier in just one wash. The perfect shower companions for those of us with a mighty busy schedule.
#2 DIY FACE MASK
Prepare your skin for a month of partying with a DIY face mask that has multiple benefits, like a honey mask that will revive, hydrate and fight blemishes for a glowing complexion. So even if you’re feeling exhausted, your skin won’t give you away!
#3 AT-HOME MANICURE
Treat yourself to an at-home manicure that’s on-trend and fresh for the party season. Glitter, chrome or rose gold nails are a perfect party accessory, while red and coral will make your summer tan really pop.
#4 TEST NYE MAKEUP
Party season is the best time of year to play around with your beauty look, but for the big New Year’s Eve event, you want to get it just right. Take the time to experiment with your makeup, and find out what look works best for you. A red lipstick is one of our favourites (and a timeless classic!) but not all lippies last the distance. Make sure you choose one with a hydrating and long-lasting formula.
#5 REPAIR HAIR DAMAGE
After all that summer fun, sun and heat-styling, it’s important to check in with your locks and evaluate the damage. To get your hair back to its pre-party condition, use the Pantene Pro-V Daily Moisture Renewal Shampoo and Pantene Pro-V 3 Minute Miracle Daily Moisture Renewal Conditioner to restore strength and shine. After just one wash, your hair will be soft, healthy and happy – even if you’re done with the partying and ready to sleep for a year!

I keep reading just about Pantene. Nice product but needs to be switched around with other brands as well.

Humidity does a number on my hair so I don't really bother styling it in summer, because it will all be undone in 10 minutes anyway.

This is great for helping my hair look shiny and pretty, but it does lack volume.

One BH member just pointed out....heat! What do people do when all of the amazing makeup starts to melt off when at these events and parties...just getting there in 40 degrees ! How to have hair that looks fab, when one sweats like mad (me), and hair gets all wet and puffy. hmmm...will work on that =D

I'm finding that if I leave this in for a good solid three minutes it really does work miracles in my hair. I love this stuff!

I have just used the three minute conditioner for the first time. The fragrance was alot subtler than other pantene products I have tried. My hair was smooth and silky immediately and I could run a fine tooth comb through it easily. I hope this good start leads to some good results tomorrow too as my hair has been super frizzy since the weather warmed up.

I've been using the 3 minute conditioner for a while now and it's great for my hair. I do use a different shampoo though due to I need a sulphate free one.
For me to have a month of celebrating, I would need physio every week to keep me going.

Always got to look after the hair properly during a long, hot summer. I live using a leave-in conditioner I have that has UV filters to protect my hair and my hair colour
