What does everyone else think about their products?
I've never heard of the brand.. Google here I come! LOL
Alyce707 if you edit the title of your post and put Moogoo in the title then you might get more responses. I for one am interested in the brand but have not yet tried any products due to my massive stash :) I know at least one beauty here 2663anne if my memory hasn't completely deserted me, maybe she will jump in and give her experiences. If I'm wrong anne sorry!
Hi Alyce707, I have been using MooGoo on and off for many years. I initially got into it because of this site, a used named Melmeko, check out this thread below:
I used to use the shampoo and conditioner all the time, and really loved them. My hair felt soft and clean and I loved the fragrance on my hair. A few years ago they seemed to change their formula and the shampoo and conditioner started to have an unpleasant scent - they actually smelled like fertilizer or pesticide my Dad used to use on the farm. I sent them some feedback, and never heard back from them, so I stopped using the products then. On an earlier occasion I had contacted them online (regarding a question I had) and recieved a prompt reply, so I wasn't sure why I didn't hear back the last time.
Recently I decided to try the shampoo and conditioner again, and I am pleased to say they seem to have picked their standard back up again. I love the scent of the new MooGoo products, they have a lovely coconutty-creamy-milky fragrance. In years past I have also used the milk wash, and various soaps and lip balms and creams. Their products are very gentle on skin, some of them are specifically designed for sensitive skin.
I recommend giving them a go, and also doing a search in the forum for the subject "MooGoo", and as duality said, change the title of the post to get more people involved.
My local Priceline store stocks them now and my sister in law is happy she doesn't have to purchase online now. Apparently they are recommended by doctors as they don't contain nasties.
Love it, have their milk wash (it's also a great face cleanser!), shampoo and one of their eczema creams. Also have gone through two of their deodorants. When I do my next order their sunscreen, protein shot conditioner is what I want to try next. It's not at my local priceline but have seen it stocked at others.
I work in pharmacy and we have just started stocking the product, nothing but good reviews from customers and the products have been flying off the shelf! I personally have nearly the whole range and I can't defect it! I only suffer with dry skin in the winter and the full cream moisturiser and msm cream work a treat!
Duality you're right, I love MooGoo! It has been the only thing that has worked on my super sensitive, super eczema riddled skin.
Their stuff is amazing, no nasties and edible (we all know what kids are like lol) I will forever use their products and I can never speak highly enough of them.
If you are considering using them, you must!
Adore them for my scalp psorasis. Its far from a cure but is good for the horrible symptoms in winter
love, love, love Moo Goo. I have sensitive skin which tends to dry ( coz I'm over da hill )
My skin is softer and doesn't hurt/sting, after washing with the milk wash.
I have been using MooGoo products for over a year. They have an oil cleansing system which is amazing.
Haha this is such convenient timing. Was just placing an order with them.
I absolutely love MooGoo! I started using years ago when I had my first son but somehow went off track again and probably tried 100 other products in that time.
Have recently gone back to Moogoo as I have another toddler in the house who keeps getting into my bathroom products. My bathroom is now filled once again with Moogoo and I wonder why I stopped at all!
My skin has never been softer and the ingredients in Moogoo are of the highest quality and I find them more effective than anything I have ever used.
The Vitamin C serum I have only just tried and been using for 2 weeks now. My skin has never been this smooth in my life!
I think my product experimenting has come to an end to be honest. I'm that happy with their range.
Love their sunscreen too. Sunscreen is so hard to get right but theirs absorbs super well yet leaves my skin soft and hydrated.
AND I dont have to worry when my children get their hands on the bathroom products anymore as this is safe enough to eat!
I love MooGoo's products. I have used their shampoo, body lotion, scalp and healing creams. They have introduced lots of products lately, so this thread is a great reminder for me to try some of their newer products.
If you have a Go Vita health food store where you live, it might be a store that has a once a month percentage off discount day (10-20% off). My local Go Vita sells MooGoo products, so I sometimes bought MooGoo products on their monthly sales days.
Not tried anything else except the lipbalm, which is beautiful and much better than any lipbalm ive tried. My 4yr old loves it too.
I used their eczema & psoriasis cream but it didnt feel hydrating at all and didn't do much for my baby either. I use Well2 baby products on him now. They're organic and vegan if that's important to you too.
i love it myself, but Princess Brat did not respond to it. Having said that, it is quite a good australian product!
By the way, better snap them up because Asia is catching on.
I have heard really good reviews on them but am yet to try, think i might have to have another look now!
I've been using them for a few years now, and I really like them! I haven't deviated much from them for my body wash and washing hair products. I use the milk body wash, conditioner, shampoo and brightening cream from them.
The milk body wash is really nice and moisturising on the skin, and i use it as my face wash in the morning as well because it's so gentle.
The conditioner doesn't need to be excessively washed out from your hair as it's quite light.
The shampoo doesn't lather up as much as conventional shampoos, but your scalp doesn't feel as stripped when you use it. I use it because my scalp gets really dry and oily especially during the winter, and dandruff becomes an issue. Head and Shoulders just makes it worse, whilst this shampoo doesn't.
The brightening cream i use every morning and occasionally at night - it's quite moisturising, so I tend to avoid using it during the day in summer (particularly as I am a very oily skin type), but I really like it. I definitely notice my skin being brighter when I wear it at night after applying my salicylic acid and Vit C serum.
oooh forgot to mention- they do have baby skincare packs that are great gifts for baby showers. Their skincare is particularly good for babies as it's super gentle.
I keep going back to their Night Cream lately. It's absolutely amazing. Leaves my skin soft and radiant. Been using it on my hands lately too as they are so dry from winter. Works wonders!
I was in priceline macquarie yesterday and saw that they now stock moogoo. It's not available online yet but they are available in stores.
I use and love their Tingling Honey lip balm! Another favourite of mine is the Blemish clearing moisturizer. Feels great on my combination pregnancy skin and really helps.
I have just been given a little bottle of MooGoo Active Serums. I have tried it out and it is lovely. You only need to use a very little amount for it to go all over your face. It is smooth and creamy. I like it
Wide verity in colours so you can do your brows and lashes all at once, developing time is only 10 minutes and lasts about 10-12 weeks, better than when I go to a salon, they always make the dye wa
My skin goes a little dry and itchy in winter, particularly on my arms for some reason. I picked this up and have been using it for a few weeks now and my skin is very happy for it.
This facial cleanser was great to use and such a relief for my skin.
I'd love to know - what's your best tip for sensitive skin?
