Not what I had hoped
After using the Multi-Peptide Anti Ageing Serum and being very impressed with its ability to assist with my ageing skin I was very excited to try this product.

I was just looking at Collagen supplements at Chemist Warehouse yesterday. I couldn’t decide between these or the regular ones in the pink box, so decided to do more research. Can’t wait to hear more about this trial. I wonder if they really do work?
I’ve commenced using Collagen powder - a teaspoon into a drink every morning - see how that goes.
I actually don't have a massive amount of wrinkles, I've always been fastidious about skincare, and look young for my age. I am more worried about a lack of elasticity, and I'm hoping this will help. I'm not expecting to see a difference in my skin for at least a month, I really don't think it can work quickly but if I'm wrong it will be a bonus.
I'm very keen to hear the results. I used to buy marine collagen powder and have that in my smoothies or on my breakfast cereal. Taking a tablet would be so much more convenient for me.
A few negatives rather than positives so far. On to day 5 of taking these, the 1st day I got them in the mail and had them with lunch, afterwards I felt bloated and uncomfortable right up until bedtime. Googled it (as you do) and it is a side effect when taking collagen supplements. I just thought "omg I don't want to spend the next few months feeling like this!" The next day I took 3 tablets instead of 4 and felt fine. Then went back to taking 4 a day.
Now I'm onto day 5 and woke up with a bad taste in my mouth, right at the back of my tongue , brushing my teeth and tongue, using mouthwash and eating haven't helped. Tomorrow I will take them with dinner since it's the biggest meal of the day for me and hope this side effect will go away as well. Hope you are doing o.k shaper
Thanks Lisa359 so far OK still having a bit of a problem swallowing them even after breaking them in half. I have been taking them everyday since receiving them and so far can see very little if any difference to my face or skin. However will continue on and see how it goes.I dont seem to have any problems like you though Lisa and I also take quite a few few other medication as well. As I am now into my 70's I do not expect miracles..lol .Hope things settle down for you very soon.

I'm feeling fine now, back to my old self. But no difference to my skins appearance yet, let's hope for a miracle Shaper LOL

I too have been taking these tablets since I received them. they are BIG tablets but so far I am getting them down all right. I have only been taking them for about a week so I will wait until the end of the trial period to see just what (if any) results I might see.
I too am in my seventies, so I do not expect miracles, but a little improvement would be nice!!
I'm 49 so I'm the baby in the trial (or on the forum at least) these are "mature skin" supplements and I think that means their is more collagen. I presume with this stuff the older you get the more you need?
Well on the way now and taking them every day as per instructions, just another pill for me to take , Lol but so far I can see very little difference but will carry on and see how I go. It would be great just to see even a small difference.

Onto my third container of these and so far no difference to the appearance to my skin. None. I asked hubby last night if he noticed anything and the answer was a swift "No" If these are going to work it has to be soon.

If you really want to know.....it's called Earworming and quite common apparently. . Gross name right? . A friend who is a nurse told me about it.
omg Lisa thamkyou for the extra details! Incredible it has an official name! Sometimes I get the same earrworm for days and I have to make myself listen to another (more preferable jingle) to get rid of it. That's my antidote anyhow. I wonder if there are any other antidotes.
Lisa359 I am with you I have no visible difference either and keep taking them, As directed but I keep thinking its just my age and I am expecting too much. Oh well carry on until the end no point in stopping half way.
I read somewhere that you regenerate your cells every month, Maybe that's incorrect? So I thought it might be more noticeable after a month.
Just checked and the reviews are'nt due until the 8th febuary, I am on to my last bottle and will be finished this week, 2 months supply and I started these mid november, I guess I will write my review and hold off on submitting it for a couple of weeks.
The same for me, I have also been taking them for over 2 months and have about 1 bottle left so will keep taking them until I empty all the bottles, even though I still see no difference in my skin!!! I will continue until I have none left and then write my review.
I've submitted my review now and just like my skin it is not glowing. Ticked a lot of "no" boxes in the post trial survey too. I'm glad this trial has finished so I can start using some new products on my skin, which I've avoided during the trial so I could assess whether these tablets worked.
I may get a brand response to my 2 star review but their is'nt much left for either of us to say - it just did'nt work , no matter how much we both wanted it to. ....sob (:
