Dermal Fillers - anyone tried them?
Hi beauties, I’ve been thinking lately about dermal filler‘s to address the lines that run from my nose to my mouth. (I’m 44yrs old). I think they are called nasolabial lines? I’ve been trying to do some research on it and there’s so much research out there that it’s confusing me. I’d like to know if anyone has had the treatment on their face. What did you think? Did it work/give the results that you were after? How often do you get it? If you’re in Melbourne, as I am, would you recommend any doctor in particular? Thanks in advance.

Baby Soft Skin
This product exceeded my expectations massively. The texture of the product is really nice light and no smell whatsoever.
Not worth it
I got this in a Christmas kit in the shade Lean in. I’m not sure if the problem is the shade or the gloss itself but I don’t think it’s a product to use on its own.
Super glittery and not very lasting
I got this product in the shade 872 Glit/Doré. I find that the colour looks nice on first application but as soon as you blend it it fades and you’re just left with a bunch of glitter in your eye.

So, a lot of my friends have been recently getting their fillers dissolved and it is very painful and takes several times returning to dissolve everything. They noticed the filler migrating and starting to form clumps and bumps even 4-5 years after first getting them done even though they were told filler only lasts 1-2 years.
Here's a link below a cosmetic doctor did a study:

Oh, that sounds awful. I'll have a read of the article, thank you. Maybe I can embrace 'ageing gracefully' - hahaha!
Yeah, also Huda beauty has a whole video about her experience, maybe check it out. I think if you do a normal size filler it can look natural and heals quicker, that's from what I've seen and heard.
As much as I'd like to try fillers, the possible side effects and the cost puts me off.

Margaret759 I used to have botox for my jowls & marionette lines (technically known as nasolabial lines) by a specialist. This may be your option. You will need to ask the operator. I remember going to a clinic that also used Lasers to remove lines. This may be worth investigating as well. One of the Beauties may be able to comment on this further.
