Hi i was wondering what are the best products to make your hooha not smell at all? thankyou xxxx
Don't use products! my hubs is an ob/gyn and as he says it is a self-cleaning oven - the more you mess with your natural ph the worse it is going to get. Get yourself to your dr and get a women's health checkup and a swab done if it is necessary, especially if you are having other symptoms like burning or itching. Knowing the difference between normal discharge and infection is the key. Use cotton underwear, sleep with no underwear (this is very important) and use natural liners during the day if you are having a discharge issue. Don't overly wash down there, just plain water is enough (soaps and washes are not necessary and mess with your PH). Also your diet can play a role, too much alcohol and sugars can also cause issues.
thank you so much
You haven't provided any info which makes answering harder. However, assuming there is no infection it's normal to have a scent there and it may vary throughout the month.
Products that claim to eliminate smell from your vulva should be steered clear from as they are extremely unhealthy to use as duality covers. I'm not against using a gentle soap or body wash in that area, JUST don't put any inside your vagina and rinse everything well. Never do douches btw!
If this is a new issue for you please go to the doctor and have a pap done, testing for thrush, bacterial vaginosis and an STI screen.
I'll leave this link here for you to read if you wish, it covers what's normal and what's not, tips for caring for your vulva and even a section on odour.
I don't think anything will make it not smell at all as I think down there just has a different smell overall compared to the rest of your body but as duality mentioned I would go to the dr before trying anything down there being so sensitive. Carefree have lines that a "shower fresh" scent so that may help?
Stick to shower water, gentle body wash if you must use something. Maybe use a wipe to "freshen up" if you're concerned before intimacy.
thank you so much!
Depends on the scent and if there are any symptoms of an STD or an infection. But if all good then as the top have answered that is correct, shower with warm water, never with soaps as they change the Ph of the vagina. I normally though sprinkle a drop or two of natural essential oil on my underwear, it doesn't scent it but I just feel fresher.
Depends so much on the smell. Get yourself to your gp if you're worried. You might just have a yeast or bacterial infection, which is easily fixed.
Otherwise I agree with the other lovelies here. Stay away from scented soaps and washes.
thank you so muchx
For many years I have had severe allergic reaction to normal hair colour that contains ammonia and peroxide.
I had good results both with niacinamide and vitamin C in the past, and I like using them both in my morning routine, but I'm not a fan of layering several products.
I loved this. I have dry hair but wow this changed it. It hydrated and moisturized my hair, it made it smell so nice and fresh. It gave my hair a shine.
