Wow! Look at these child stars now
Here at beautyheaven we’re all about the next big thing. For a while now we’ve been looking to celebrities like Alexa Chung, Miranda Kerr and Rihanna for the latest beauty trends and looks to try, but are always careful to keep an eye out for the new talent that’s just around the corner. Here, we bring you three Hollywood veterans who have been in the spotlight for many years already, yet none of them has celebrated their 18th birthday.
Check out three of the Hollywood child stars that are pegged to become ones to watch in the world of style and beauty…
Do you remember the little girl from Little Miss Sunshine? That was Abigail Breslin. Yep, she played Olive, the quirky kid with glasses and a rainbow sweatband – but that was a long time ago. Look at her now! She’s all about the sassy side waves, ruby red lips and peek-a-boo cutouts around her midriff. We love watching her grow up. Naw.
Then there’s Chloe Moretz. She was the sweet, teeny blonde that made us coo over her cuteness as she starred opposite Melissa George in chilling flick The Amityville Horror. These days she’s rocking an on-trend highlighted brown hair hue and gorgeous, flattering shades on her fair skin. We have a feeling that you’ll be seeing a lot more of her on beautyheaven as she continues to seriously impress.
Last but not least there’s Elle Fanning. She started acting when she was just two years old, playing the younger version of her sister Dakota in movies such as I Am Sam. She seems to have stepped out of her sister’s shadow however, being labelled a style icon by fashion critics globally. Sleek blonde locks and natural make-up have become her staple, and with the role of Princess Aurora in new flick Maleficent under her belt, she won’t be going anywhere.
TIPS FOR LOOKING SOPHISTICATED AND AGE-APPROPRIATE
- Stay away from severe hairstyles that can make you look much older than your years. Instead, try brushed-out curls for an evening-appropriate style.
- Keep your make-up light and breathable. Not only will this keep you from looking like you’re wearing caked-on make-up, but you’ll also be allowing your skin to breathe. Stick to using a BB cream like Rimmel London 9-in-1 BB Cream SPF 25.
- Keep your make-up looking fresh. Using glossy creams on your eyelids and pretty colours on your cheeks and lips will keep your look youthful. A slick of red lipstick is fine, but keep it glossy. We love ModelCo SHINE ULTRA LIP GLOSS in Showgirl Red.
- Don’t over pluck. Natural-looking brows are one of the most obvious signs of youth. Limit your plucking to just the hairs that stand alone underneath your brows and use a clear brow gel to keep the hairs in place. We love Bloom Brow Gel.
