The toothbrush your kids will go crazy over

I’m a little bit of a child when it comes to toys that light up, make noises or move. I get overexcited, a HUGE smile appears across my face and squealing noises are known to result.
This was precisely the case when I discovered the Spinbrush Globrush in the beauty cupboard earlier this week. Not only does this battery-powered, micro-pulsing toothbrush get to all those hard-to-reach places in your mouth and get rid of nasty plaque, it has a timer and lights up, too. Yep, the kids will love it just as much as I do!
But it gets better.
The most genius part of this kids’ toothbrush is this: every 30 seconds the toothbrush light transitions from green to red, indicating it’s time to switch ‘zones’. Spinbrush works around the notion that our mouths are complied of four zones – top left, top right, bottom left and bottom right – and when the light changes colour, it tells your child it’s time to brush another area of the mouth. It also shuts off once 30 seconds in each zone is complete. Smart, huh?
What most impresses me most about the colour-change function of this toothbrush is that it forces your child to brush their teeth for the recommended two minutes. Sure, it’s not always easy to get the kids into the bathroom for a tooth-brushing session twice a day, but it’s even harder to ensure they brush their toothy pegs for a full two minutes. This toothbrush solves that, and keeps the children excited about it, too.
Now I’m willing to bet my meat-and-three-veg dinner that your kids will get even more excited about this product than I am, and better yet, there’s three handle designs to choose from, too. Fun!
Do you struggle to get your kids to brush their teeth for a full two minutes? Would a flashing, colour-changing toothbrush excite your kids like it did me?

I would have loved one of those when I was little - no such things in the sixties & seventies.

It makes it fun because it is a novelty.

Do they make an adults version?

I agree. Plenty of adults could definitely use this. It's easy to race through tooth brushing.

I love how this toothbrush is beautifully coloured though! Also ladies, replace toothbrushed every 3-4months and brush 45 degrees towards the gum (minimises chance of gingivitis) also each tooth surface should be brushes in circular movements 3 times. I know i might sound like a teacher but you really do spare a lot of money in the end if you get your child to brush correctly from a young age. flossing is very important too. Try things like: you have to brush your teeth to give/impress the tooth fairy with nice clean beautiful teeth.

Im currently studying and working with the school dental services. Getting your child to brush their teeth is very important. Always drink only water at night after brushing. One thing ( and this counts for adults to) is that the tooth brush MUST have soft brissels. THe harder ones are actually only meant for dentures (false teeth) not for normal teeth. If it is to hard you actually scrub away the enamel which can NOT be replaced!

LOL! I agree I want one too! My kids would just love these, perfect for my 5 year old who comes out of the bathroom after just 30 seconds and says "I'm Done!", so back he goes much to his disgust!.
