Anthelios Invisible Fluid Facial Sunscreen SPF50+ Reviews

I quite liked this product but I do not think it is for everyone. First with the pros:
- It is extremely light weight
- SPF 50
- hydrating
Cons:
- Very runny
- Would probably look greasy on oily skin
- Does not work very well under makeup
- Pricy
- Strong scent

Overall it is a good product but I would recommend buying it during sales as it is a bit pricy for the amount of product and I would probably avoid if you had sensitive or greasy skin as the perfume and runniness might either break you out or make you look oily. I could tell as my nose is a bit oily compared to the rest of my face and this really made it shiny.

I have very fair skin so sunscreen is a must for me. However I can't stand the suffocating feel of sunscreen and the thought of putting one over a foundation is too much!
So when I saw this I had hope. And l was not disappointed! The packaging is slim and it has a small ball-bearing inside to help move the product when you shake it.
It has enough coverage and tint to help my skin look healthy so most days that I wear makeup I can get away with this, some concealer and a touch of powder on the too shiny spots to mattify, while letting the rest look dewy.
The shine is the reason for the star off, because if it didn't go shiny I wouldn't even need powder!
It does have a slight sunscreeny smell but it's not too bad and it blends and melts in pretty well. It wears well over the course of a day.

I have two versions of this SPF50: Ultra Ligth (pictured) and new edit ultra light Invisible fluid. They have similar base (water, alcohol, spf filters for UVA and UVB, all chemical based). Just they differ in chemical filter screens. Since they are chemical based they do degrade and have to be reapplied frequently. Not very suitable for me as I have melasma and have to have filters that bounce off the light and do not degrade (like Zn).

I love that these are so lightweight and do not make my face look greasy and extra shiny. But normal as my skin is. And I use these for short time out and not summer peak hours. If longer Physical spf is a must for me when longer exposed to stronger UVA.

My skin is normal to oily in summer, so even though this sunscreen (and its newer edit) contain high up alcohol (second and third after water on ing list), my skin is good with it. And has no issues with alcohol at all.

My only big issue with this (and most other sunscreens I have used with only chemical filters) is that it burns my eyes after an hourish of wear.

My go to for facial sunscreen, does not feel sticky and leave a white cast or bad smell. This is a great sunscreen and the only one I'd ever use to put on my face. Goes on well after applying moisturizer and sits well under foundation as well.

Sunscreen is a MUST have if you care about your skin.

LOVED this product as it was everything it promised to be!
This sunscreen was very light weight, and went on my skin quite smoothly. I was a bit anxious as to whether there would be a white cast as alot of the other spf 50 products i have tried before always was very greasy/ oily looking and gave me a white cast too!
But this product was perfect.
I was a bit concerned at the size of the bottle (only 50ml), but because of its liquidy texture a little bit goes a long way.
I now see why a lot of dermatologists recommend this product!
Also it doesn't contain any harsh products or alcohol so that's another tick!
I had previously been using some Japanese sunscreen products but stopped due to the harsh chemicals that are used.
Definitely would recommend and I am buying a bottle for my mum too!

My daughter has very sensitive skin. In summer esp when in pools with Chlorine anything we put on her face would result in stinging. A trip to Bali resulted in her crying most the time because her face was on fire, nothing we tried worked.
Was recommended this suncream and at first I thought wow that’s a bit pricey. We took it away to Bali the following trip and not only did my fair skin sensitive daughter not get burnt once, her face did not sting a single time. I would pay double the price now to make sure I know she is comfortable.
I then went on to buy the tinted one myself and absolutely love it. She is quite a few years older now and now uses the tinted one daily as her makeup, which I love the fact she is putting SPF on daily from a young age, well much younger than I knew too anyways :)

I purchased the La Roche-Posay sunscreen because I had heard good reports about it.

I have used this sunscreen on my face over the last few months and haven’t had any problem with it. It provides excellent protection for my fair and sensitive skin.

What I do like about it is that it is a milky fluid with only a slight fragrance. It easily absorbs into my skin. Unlike other sunscreens it is not thick and greasy and does not leave a white film or clog my pores.

I wear it over my moisturiser when I am having a makeup-free day or I can apply my makeup over the top of the sunscreen without any problems. Because the La Roche-Posay sunscreen has a sun protection factor of 50+ it is offering a very high protection against the suns rays, which is another reason why I like this sunscreen.

I keep this sunscreen solely for use on my face as the bottle contains only 50mls. Also it retails at a fairly high price point. This product is imported from France.

This La Roche Posay facial sunscreen is lovely! I find it glides nicely onto the face and has a smooth finish.

It has a non greasy formulation and is great for everyday use. It comes in a good size bottle and lasts a while.

I would recommend this quality facial sunscreen as a staple for the beauty routine!

I purchased the La Roche-Posay Anthelios XL Ultra Light SPF50+ because I had read so many positive reviews on the product and because La Roche-Posay is a brand I trust when it comes to skincare.

There are a number of factors I look for when choosing a sunscreen – SPF 50+, non-greasy, clear once applied, lightweight consistency, fast absorbing and suitable for sensitive skin (so hubby can use it).

The first thing I noticed and immediately liked about this sunscreen is that it is a fluid rather than a cream.so it glides easily over the skin and blends effortlessly, leaving an invisible film. No stickiness, no greasy feeling, no clogged pores – just comfortable feeling skin.

I have fair skin which burns easily so using an effective high protection sunscreen is very important to me. On the days I don't wear makeup this is all I need. However, on other days I also apply a BB cream and I have had no trouble in applying it over the sunscreen. Just a little tip – wait a few minutes to make sure the sunscreen is completely dry and settled before applying any makeup.

La Roche-Posay Anthelios XL Ultra Light SPF50+ has my tick of approval and is a product I can highly recommend.
