Innovative Ingredients

There’s nothing we love more than when beauty products feature something special that sets them apart from other products. Usually, the ‘something special’ is a weird and wonderful ingredient that works magically.
Here are some innovative ingredients often used in luxury body products:
Algae and other marine-derived ingredients
Algae and other marine- derived ingredients are known to have great anti-ageing properties, making them ideal ingredients for luxury body products that work to restore youth to the skin.
Many La Mer body products contain algae or other marine-derived ingredients. La Mer The Body Créme contains an exclusive micro-algae complex that delivers intense hydration to the skin, restores clarity and continuously works to tone and firm skin.
Caviar
Caviar is full of proteins, vitamins, minerals, and water, which work to hydrate and nourish skin, improve skin elasticity and slow down the ageing process, so it’s easy to see why La Prairie uses caviar (among other super-hydrating ingredients) in its luxury body products. La Prairie Skin Caviar Luxe Body Cream and La Prairie Skin Caviar Luxe Body Emulsion both deeply hydrate the skin, leaving your skin feeling softer, smoother, and brighter.
Diamond
Diamonds certainly are a girl’s best friend, with many luxury body products including diamond dust in their list of ingredients for its ability to exfoliate, smooth, soften and brighten the skin.
La Mer The Body Refiner is a calming body treatment that contains over a carat and a half of pure diamond dust to polish and soften skin, and leave skin more resilient.

I can understand the use of algae and seaweed, however I'm not so sure why caviar would be so effective. What's so great about caviar?
