Celebrity beauty advice every girl can learn from

Say what you will about celebrities, but one thing you can’t deny is they know how to look good, constantly. When you’re on the red carpet and in front of the camera all day every day, you’re inevitably going to pick up some seriously handy beauty tips. Here are some of the best they’ve been willing to share:
EVA MENDES
"A shimmery bronzer is the perfect way to look alive. If you don't want to wear make-up, mix some with moisturiser. You'll look pretty but not made-up."
LAUREN CONRAD
“If you must blow-dry your hair, do not do it in the bathroom right after you have showered. The humidity will only make your hair frizzier. For a super sleek summer blow-out, head into another (dry) room and dry your hair there.”
GIGI HADID
"Eat clean, and work out to stay fit — and have a burger to stay sane."
CINDY CRAWFORD
“I’m a huge fan of double-duty beauty—because good things take time, and none of us have enough of it! I try to include beauty treatments into my workouts. For instance, since I know I’ll be washing my hair right after I exercise, I put a pre-wash conditioner in my hair, especially on my ends. A greasy ponytail during a workout never hurt anyone.”
OLIVIA PALERMO
"I make sure to get my nails done every 5 days to keep them looking healthy and polished – the 5 days are very important to keep them looking pristine. I find that with good day-to-day care I don't need to use any unusual or unique treatments on my nails."
ELLEN POMPEO
For a smoky eye, moisturise the area first, so when you line the lid with a pencil it will smudge naturally.
NICOLE SCHERZINGER
My top skin tips for anti-ageing are wearing SPF everyday, sleep and lots of moisturiser and water.
SALMA HAYEK
The most important rule in beauty is this: always wash your face before you go to bed. It’s very important to cleanse at night. I use a chamomile cleanser if I haven’t been wearing make-up, and an oil cleanser if I am wearing make-up—it takes everything off. Rule number two: never wash your face in the morning. Your skin regenerates all the things that you lost during the day when you’re sleeping— restoring the right pH balance, producing the right oils, collagen— everything comes back to the skin. Then you go and wash it off. Why? My grandmother taught me this.
JESSICA ALBA
I think a strong lip colour is an easy yet effective make-up look that doesn't take up a huge amount of time. A bold lip instantly turns your look glamorous.
KATE WINSLET
A good eye cream is really important when you are traveling, busy and stressed - that's when the dark, puffy circles can get you.
RACHEL BILSON
I dust my cheeks and eyelids with bronzing powder for a natural glow.
KATIE HOLMES
The actress likes to wear purple eyeliner instead of black. She says it makes her eyes look greener.
EMMA WATSON
Make-up artist Linda Cantello taught me this tip: if you make a mistake with your mascara, dip a cotton ball into some foundation to remove it and conceal at the same time.
HALLE BERRY
I think the quality of your skin is genetic, but if you eat right and exercise, that helps to keep the elasticity in your skin and that youthful, healthy glow.
LILY COLLINS
The quirky things that make you different are what make you beautiful.
CAMERON DIAZ
I don’t know if these are beauty secrets, but what I do to feel my best is just exercise regularly, laugh and play often, and make love every moment I can. Oh, yeah, and drink lots of water.
CANDICE SWANEPOEL
If you want to look a little more awake, use a cream pencil on the inside of your eye. It opens up your eyes. Put a shimmer in the corners… it makes them pop.

These tips are excellent. Next time I blow dry my hair I'm going to try it in a room other than the bathroom and see if it reduces frizz. It makes sense that the humidity in the bathroom after having a shower would cause frizz. The purple eyeliner tip is great too. I have hazel eyes and have found that purple eyeshadow brings out the green in them so I'll have to try purple eyeliner.

Some great tips. I always try and avoid even going into the bathroom after I've dried my hair as the humidity will ruin all of the effort that went into it.

I like Selma Hayak's tips .. makes sense, and she has beautiful skin . Actually, I think good skin has a big genetic component, but this advantage can be negated by too much sun, a bad diet or illness, so a lot of the tips here make sense.

Some great tips here. I absolutely agree that my face needs to be clean before going to bed and eating well and exercising is just as important as any product that can be bought.
