5 hacks all mums should know

We all love a good life hack, but mums especially appreciate anything that can help them go about their day, while avoiding tears and tantrums at the same time. Below are some handy tips for all the magnificent mums out there, so you can spend less time doing tedious tasks and more time enjoying the moments that matter.
#1 Hide your veggies
A fussy eater can sometimes turn meal times into a marathon, so if the sight of broccoli has your little one wiring their mouth shut, try grating some veg and hiding it in other foods. Grated zucchini and carrot hidden in spag bowl is always a winner, but you can also try mixing them into fritters or blitz some pumpkin in a food processor to add to macaroni cheese. If it’s fruit that’s proving to be tricky, pop it with some milk and yoghurt in a blender, add some sprinkles on top for effect and hand your child their new favourite ‘milkshake’.
#2 Fast, convenient hair removal
If a beauty task takes too long, it’s simply not going to happen. But don’t cross hair removal off your list just yet, because there are fast and convenient options out there. If the only time you have to yourself is in the shower, you’re going to love Nair Sensitive Shower Power Cream. It works while you’re in the shower to effectively remove hair for up to seven days. Sounds amazing right? Simply apply the cream to the area a few minutes before jumping in the shower, leave it to do its thing while you go about your regular shower routine and then wash off with water to reveal the smooth results.
Or if you prefer waxing, there’s also the Nair Sensitive Strip Free Wax with Pain Reducing Formula. What makes this wax more convenient than others, is that no cotton strips are needed. The wax itself hardens upon application to form its own strip, which you can remove in one swift movement taking all unwanted hair with it. Then simply pop the strip straight in the bin. No strips, no mess and no fuss!
Both products have been formulated specifically for sensitive skin and enriched with argan oil to moisturise. So you’ll have smooth skin, with long-lasting results that took hardly any time at all.
#3 Stick a hook to the back of your highchair
For such a simple little step, this hook can make a big difference. Use it to hang all your bibs so they’re always ready to go at mealtime. Or if you’re in need of much more arsenal when feeding your bundle of joy, use it to hang a shoe hanger, which can be filled with the bibs, wet wipes or toys so they’re easily within reach and you can have your bub in and out of the high chair in no time.
#4 Forget foundation, use BB cream
On the days when at least some type of coverage is needed, go for a BB cream instead of a foundation. BB cream will hydrate your skin while concealing imperfections and most are designed to mimic your skin tone so that you can almost apply it with your eyes closed. Keep one in your handbag for instant radiance on-the-go.
#5 Make your own ‘monster spray’
If the thought of monsters is constantly stalling bedtime, make your own monster repellant. Simply create your own label with words ‘monster spray’ on it, add some pictures for effect and stick it onto a generic, empty spray bottle. Then just fill it with water and every night before bed spray it under the bed, in the cupboards and in all other necessary spots so your little one has peace of mind and sleeps soundly.

I agree with the BB cream, did that for years and it really covers up a multitude of sins/neglect. I always hid the veges too, blended them up in their spag bol :)
